The Opportunity | Te āheinga
Are you passionate about building safety and ensuring compliance with New Zealand’s building regulations? NPDC is offering a unique opportunity for a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Building Compliance Inspector on an 18-month fixed-term agreement.
In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of maintaining the safety and integrity of NPDC’s commercial building stock. You will carry out essential compliance inspections and ensure all buildings meet the requirements of the Building Act 2004, specifically focusing on Compliance Schedules and Building Warrants of Fitness (BWOF).
As part of our Consents & Regulatory team, you’ll play a key role in delivering Territorial Authority functions, helping to uphold public safety and confidence in our built environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in a meaningful way, contribute to community wellbeing, and work within a supportive and forward-thinking council.
